1.2 TikTok information

When you connect a TikTok account, we use the official TikTok Login Kit (OAuth) to request only the permissions required to:

• identify your TikTok account, and
• upload or publish content to your account via the TikTok Content Posting API.

Depending on the scopes you approve, TikTok may share basic profile information (such as username, avatar, and open ID) and access tokens. We do not receive your TikTok password.

1.3 Content you upload

To help you schedule and manage posts, we store media files (such as videos), captions, and scheduling data that you choose to upload to the Service. These files may be temporarily processed in order to send them to TikTok on your behalf.

2. How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

• authenticate you to Postiz App and to TikTok,
• schedule and upload content to your TikTok account,
• provide customer support and troubleshoot issues, and
• maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use TikTok data to build profiles unrelated to the operation of Postiz App.

3. Data sharing

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate Postiz App (for example, hosting and storage providers). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data.

TikTok data is shared only with TikTok, through their official APIs, when you explicitly request actions such as uploading or publishing content.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information and scheduled content for as long as your Postiz App account remains active. You may request deletion of your account, and we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

5. Your choices & rights

• You can disconnect your TikTok account from Postiz App at any time. This revokes our ability to make further API calls on your behalf.
• You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the information provided below.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-party services

Our integration with TikTok is subject to TikTok’s own Privacy Policy and terms. Your use of TikTok is governed by their policies, which are separate from this document.

8. Children’s privacy

Postiz App is intended for use by adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law to use TikTok or our Service.

9. Changes to this Policy
